Self Love / Self Respect Guided Meditation - Activ8 Mindset Meditation Challenge
All of us desire love and connection. This is a guided meditation meant to connect you with yourself, to give yourself that love first. Many times, if not more often than not we seek that love and approval from external sources. Little do we know, loving and showing ourselves the utmost respect determines how we are treated by others. That external love we seek from the other is only a reflection of how we treat ourselves.
In life we do not get what we deserve but rather what we negotiate. So simply reject less than you deserve.
If you are always receiving mistreatment for example, let’s say from a friend. You keeping them in your life is negotiating that is behaviour you are willing to tolerate. A solution would be to remove yourself and go where you are respected. That is an act of self love / self respect.
Maintain healthy boundaries and tolerate nothing less than what you believe you deserve, otherwise you give away your personal power to others.
Self love also includes making holistic health choices. That means eating well, exercising to take care of your body, and practicing mindfulness to train your mind. Giving yourself the best treatment is self love at its finest.
